Built on a Vision of Quiet Luxury

CJ Grande by Sterling Hotels & Resorts was born from a singular conviction: that true luxury is not about excess, but about effortless perfection. That a beautifully curated space, impeccably served, can transform a night's stay into a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Founded in 1998 by the Sterling family, our property began as a boutique retreat of 12 rooms overlooking a quiet cove. Over two decades, guided by an uncompromising design philosophy, it grew into the 47-room landmark you see today — without ever losing the intimacy and warmth of those first guests.

We are a premier business hotel in Cochin and have held a 3-star hotel rating for consecutive years, boasting a 4.3-star Google Rating from our satisfied guests.

1998

The Founding Vision

The Sterling family opened the doors of a 12-room coastal retreat, guided by a philosophy of understated luxury and personalised care.

2004

3-Star Classification

CJ Grande by Sterling Hotels & Resorts was awarded its official 3-star hotel classification, recognizing the exceptional value and comfort of our guest experience.

2009

The Grand Expansion

Following a two-year architectural renovation, Sterling expanded to 47 rooms and suites, adding L'Ambroisie and expanded facilities.

2015

Michelin Recognition

L'Ambroisie was awarded its first Michelin star under Executive Chef Adrien Morel, cementing Sterling's culinary reputation.

2023

The Penthouse & Infinity Pool

The iconic Penthouse suite and rooftop infinity pool were unveiled, completing Sterling's vision of an unrivalled luxury retreat.
